Scope and what we will tell you honestly
Larger scopes can be combined into a single visit. Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work is coordinated through qualified licensed trade subcontractors where required.
What a home repair scope usually covers
- Grouping the list
- A single visit can cover several unrelated repairs. Grouping them is usually cheaper than booking each one separately, so it is worth sending the whole list rather than the one item that is bothering you most.
- Fences and gates
- Leaning sections usually trace back to posts rather than pickets. A gate that drags is normally a post, hinge or squareness problem, so the fix is decided at the post line, not at the gate.
- Where another trade is required
- Electrical, plumbing and HVAC work is coordinated through qualified licensed trade subcontractors where required, rather than being absorbed into a general repair scope.
What to have ready when you request an estimate
The more of this we have up front, the closer the first number is to the final one.
- The full list of repairs, including the small ones.
- Photos of each item, plus a wide shot for fences and siding.
- The approximate age of the fence, siding or doors if you know it.
- Whether the property is owner-occupied, a rental, or being prepared for sale.
- Access notes: gates, dogs, alarm codes to be arranged, and the hours that work for you.
