What we repair

San Antonio soil moves, and flatwork moves with it. Cracks, settled slabs, and spalling surfaces can often be repaired or resurfaced instead of replaced.

Scope and what we will tell you honestly

Some slabs have moved far enough that repair is not the honest answer. If that is what the site shows, we will say so and explain the alternative.

What a concrete repair scope usually covers

Repair, resurface, or replace
A slab that is sound underneath can often be patched or resurfaced. A slab that has broken into moving pieces, or settled far enough to hold water against the house, is usually a replacement conversation rather than a repair one.
Joints and cracks
Cracks are cut back to sound material, filled, and sealed. Sealing slows water and root intrusion; it does not stop the ground movement that opened the crack in the first place.
Why the ground matters here
Bexar County clay swells and shrinks with the seasons. If drainage is pushing water under a slab, the same crack tends to come back, so the site conditions get looked at before a repair method is picked.
